Want to go beyond Black History Month?  Join us for a (free) six part series to better understand the historical roots of our country's current racial divide.
The Hidden Black History Film/Dialogue series is co-sponsored by Rid Racism Milwaukee and America's Black Holocaust Museum.

All of the film/dialogue sessions will be held at the Center Street Library (2727 W Fondulac Ave) from 5:15-7:45pm on the following dates:

March 31st, Orientation to Cross-Racial Dialoguing
April 14th, Race - The Power of an Illusion
April 28th, Nat Turner: A Troublesome Property
May 12th, Tales of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North
May 26th, The Black Press: Solders without Swords
June 9th, Tulia, Texas

Led by facilitators trained in safe honest cross-racial dialoguing techniques, participants will watch a film together, then break into small groups for discussion.

To develop a solid interracial learning community, we ask that participants plan to attend all six sessions. If for any reason, you anticipate a problem with this but wish to join, please contact Dr. Fran Kaplan, 414.445.7500.

To register for the FREE educational program, contact info@abhmuseum.org or Dr. Fran Kaplan (414.445.7500) by March 16th, 2015. Participation is limited to 30 in an intentionally mixed group in terms of race, ethnicity, and age.
